Matar's sire is an Egyptian Event Top 10 stallion, his grandsire is the incomparable The Egyptian Prince. Matar's dam is a daughter of Shamruk+ who was a Regional and multi winner in Halter, English Pleasure, and Native Costume. Shamruk was out of the imported U.S. Top 10 Halter and English Pleasure Mare *Bint Maisa El Sagira, noted for her beauty and movement. Raashika's dam is a daughter of U.S. National Futurity Top 10 Stallion Rofann, who is a daughter of U.S. National Champion Ibn Morafic and out of the famed broodmare *Dawlat who was dam of National Champion Dalul.
