Dear Holly,
I have never owned a straight Egyptian or Egyptian related horse
before and did a lot of research before purchasing KRH Royal
Treasure from you. He has not only met my expectations, but
far exceded them. He has easily shown himself the smartest
horse on the ranch, and also one of the most affectionate. I
have never been much for playing with two year old colts because for
the most part, they are a really big pain! "Royal"
has been a pleasure to work with and I find myself getting stuck out
by his pen or going in because I just can't resist. He has
most definately found a place in my heart and we are excited to see
how he impacts the breeding program here at Primo Arabians.
Thank you!

Hello
Holly,
My
name is Lisa and I recently purchased KRH Amir Sharaf bred at your
farm from KRH Amir Elbataa and AK Nessima. He is FABULOUS!! Riding
him is a dream!!
Holly,
you breed amazing horses!! I tell people who are looking for a horse
to check out your website all the time, that if they want a horse
with a wonderfully gentle personality as well as breeding, they
couldn't find a better place than Holly Arabians!! Even people who
just come to admire Amir(he is my pride and joy, and I do love
showing him off!).
Some
people are so against Arabians because of their reputation for being
spooky and high-strung but they all end just LOVING him!! He has the
most amazing personality, is so incredibly smart, and could be a
spokes-horse for the breed, I swear...lol...and has changed several
people's mindsets about Arabians in general. I've even had several
people tell me I should publish him too, as an example of the breed,
which I'm considering, but haven't had the time to do it yet. If I
manage to get him published, Holly Arabians will be published in the
article, with your permission, of course! Horse Illustrated accepts
and will publish privately submitted pictures and articles, so I'm
looking in to that.
In
the meantime, I'm just enjoying every single minute of every day I
have with him. He is such a character!! Last weekend, someone left a
shirt hanging on his pen door after they were finished working on
new pens they're putting in. Well, a few days alter, I found said
shirt in the bottom of his water trough....lol. A few days after
that, my husband caught him in the act! He had that shirt and was
going to town...lol...flipping it around, waving it in the air,
jumping up and down with it....lol. Thankfully, he got some of it on
video with his camera phone but it was an absolute riot to watch!
When he finally turned and saw my husband, he dropped it like he was
thinking "OOPS! Busted!".He steals wheelbarrows,
pitchforks, shirts, and his neighbor's feed dishes, given any
opportunity...lol. We've joked about putting a "toy box"
in his pen people can contribute too because he will play with
anything...lol. Never a dull moment with my little man, that's for
sure!!
Have
a wonderful weekend Holly!! Glad you enjoyed the pictures!!

Dear Holly,
Received your e-mail
regarding the open house. That sounds so lovely. I wish we could
go, but we won't be able to .
Mireeyah is doing
well. Our farrier, whom I consider to be a horseman, was
impressed with how good she looked when she got home. He,
like Harold, agreed that it is a rarity for horses to come
back from another place in such good shape. We brag about Holly
Arabians whenever we get the chance.
Take care,
Harold and Nancy

Hi
Holly-
The
trail ride was great fun! Rocket loaded just fine into our trailer
and was the star of the ride! He behaved perfectly and just
enjoyed himself so much. At one point, we were even asked to take
the lead of the group which he eagerly agreed to! He is among the
faster horses, as I'm sure you knew, so we were always somewhere
at the front of the group. David (stable owner) even gave me a
huge compliment by telling me that Rocket and I did great, so this
was a gold star day for sure.
Keep
in touch--we love your notes!

Hi
Holly,
Just
wanted to pass on how fun it has been to add Raayah and Shaq to
our family. My husband Richard is a staunch Quarter Horse
fan and never really thought much about Arabians. That is
until Shaq came along. Shaq is officially Richard's horse
and I am often reminded of that. We have a paint colt the
same age, but it is Shaq whose personality has won Richard's
heart. Shaq visits and follows Richard while he is doing
chores. He trailers much easier than the paint colt and runs
circles around him in the arena.
Raayah
is another story, what a character! I took her to a ground
clinic at Kettle Creek Ranch for a short lessson in the round pen
and she was the star of the day. Several people told
me that she was the highlight of the weekend. Patti Haddon,
the trainer, commented that I could do whatever I wanted with her.
Her movement would be great for sport horse, western pleasure, or
dressage. She is beautiful and I am really looking forward
to showing her and having a lifelong companion.
Thanks
again,
Cheryl

| Dear
Holly,
Just wanted
to let you know that my daughter, Kerry, has started working
with KRH Desert Diamond aka 'DD' and is riding him gently now.
She adores him and wants him as 'her horse'. He is an
absolute sweetie and follows her around like a puppy dog.
'DD' is living on my boyfriends ranch out east and seems very
happy. He has a home for life. Kerry wants to do all
the work with him on her own, 'DD' seems to really enjoy her.
Thanks Holly!
Best
regards,
Sue

Dear
Holly,
I just wanted to send you a
note to let you know that Hajar is doing wonderful. His
tempermant and character has already surpassed my non Al
Khamsa stallions and he is only two years old. He is loving
and sensitive. When he moves in his paddock he is so
fluid and has so much "reach" and
"spring". Movement is so important to me.
I will be anxious to see him pass it on to his first foals.
I know he will be an excellent sire as well as a performance
horse. He will be our foundation AK sire as his name
reflects KRH Hajar Sharaf translates "foundation
stone". Thank you so much for the opportunity to
own such a magnificent animal. He is deeply loved by our
family.
Gratefully
yours,
Julie

Hi
Holly !
We
just got back from the Beaumont Show and made a haul !
Shahzar was the MOST popular horse there. By the last
day everyone was clapping for him as he moved up from top
five to win TWO Reserve Championship ribbons, one was won
against the winner who they think will take Nationals !
He got a ribbon in each class so we brought home 5 ribbons.
He now has 8 total and is qualified for Nationals.
Shahzar loves to show, he does not mind the crowds and
nothing really rocks his boat. Even mares in heat
don't ruffle his good manners.
We
are so proud of him.
Watch
for us at the shows!
